Dug-out canoe or mokoro trips have become the popular way for travellers
to experience the tranquillity of the Okavango Delta.
We book trips ranging from one to four days, for up to six people. Larger groups can be organised but require prior arrangement.
For self-catered trips you need to take your own food and equipment with you, however for those travelling light you can hire a tent and other necessary items.
As a guest of the Batswana community you travel the reed and papyrus lined waterways in a traditional dugout canoe (Mokoro), winding your way to a forested island. Listen to the Okavango Delta bird calls and the tinkling of the reed frogs as you walk with your guide to discover the local plant and animal life both large and small.
